Larry Coryell Model
Larry Coryell model:

This slightly used (mint + condition, completed in 2009) LC model is a spectacular instrument. It has a master grade European spruce top, and a set of my nicest, oldest, well “spidered”  Brazilian rosewood for the back and sides.  This rosewood came to me from the inventory of an old luthier friend who stopped building guitars. I was lucky enough to be the first to purchase some of the wood he brought back from Brazil in 1967.  It’s condition might make one think it was only played with kid gloves.

It has a clear, ringing tone, with great definition and sustain in the bass,  thanks to the rosewood mentioned.  The high end is sweet and warm and well balanced.
It is bound in curly Koa,  with wood purflings. Schaller gold tuners, and a concentric diamond-shaped inlay of mother-of-pearl and abalone on the peghead.

Condition: MINT +
Price: $7500, including Ameritage Platinum case.
